About Our School

OGA offers gi and no gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction and training for kids and adults ages 3+ in Portland, OR. Our academy is the only academy in the Portland area where every class on the schedule is taught by a black belt with an extensive competition background, an upper-belt adult or master 1 IBJJF No Gi World Championship title, and years of experience working with adult and youth students. Our gym is committed to the study and practice of modern, world-class, competition-tested BJJ technique and upholding high standards of excellence and ethics in our martial art and sport. We do not relegate the teaching of youth or beginner adult classes to lower belts because we love to develop athletes and hobbyists of all ages and abilities.
